Vini and Mastantuono star as Real Madrid take two-goal lead

Real Madrid took a 2-0 lead into half-time against Levante, with a superb goal from Vinicius Junior and Franco Mastantuono’s first goal for the ‘Merengues’.

Flying high at the top of LaLiga with a perfect record, Real Madrid showed no mercy in their first-half visit to Levante. Xabi Alonso’s side went into the break with a commanding 2-0 lead.

The main architects of this advantage were Vinicius and Mastantuono, who scored the goals. The Brazilian’s contribution was particularly eye-catching, opening the scoring with a stunning curler with the outside of his right foot.

The ‘7’, who has faced criticism for his form in recent months, was not content with just scoring and soon turned provider, setting up Franco Mastantuono for his first goal in a Real Madrid shirt.

Following a lightning-fast counter-attack from the ‘Los Blancos’, the young Argentinian talent drove forward on the right flank and unleashed a thunderous strike to claim his first goal for Real Madrid.
