
With the Champions League 2025-26 draw just two days away, the 36 teams for the League Phase are confirmed. Below, we present the four pots for the new edition of the ultimate club competition.
PSG were crowned champions of the Champions League 2024-25. With the various European leagues wrapped up and without a moment to lose, the 2025-26 edition is already taking shape.
After four rounds of two-legged play-offs, which began on 8th July and ended on 27th August, the teams will find out who they will face in the League Phase, which kicks off on 16th September. The final of the tournament will be held on Saturday 30th May 2026 at the Puskas Arena in Budapest.
The country with the most qualified teams is England, with six, followed by Spain, with five, and Italy and Germany, with four each. One step below is France (three) and, further down, Belgium, Portugal and the Netherlands with two.
PSG, champions of the 2024-25 edition, will begin their title defence against the threat of teams such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, City and Liverpool, among others. The full schedule for the continent’s top club competition will not be known until Saturday morning.
