After several loan spells during his time as a Real Madrid player, Japanese attacker Take Kubo finally found his place at Real Sociedad.
Real Sociedad have been one of the best Spanish teams in Europe this season, having qualified top of a group that included Inter and Benfica. Moreover, the Basque side are only one point off the European qualification places in the domestic championship.
One of the players making Alguacil’s team’s great campaign possible is Take Kubo, who trained in Barcelona’s youth academy and was signed by Real Madrid, who loaned the Japanese winger to several La Liga sides until the 22-year-old finally found his place at Real Sociedad.
The six goals he has scored and four assists provided in the 28 official appearances he has made for Real Sociedad this season so far have earned him a renewal until 2028, which was officially announced on Monday. Take a look at how the Japan international has made his breakthrough for the Basque side.
