PSG believe their superstar Kylian Mbappe has reached an agreement with Real Madrid to stay at the French club for another year and join ‘Los Blancos’ on a free transfer next summer, according to ‘Sky Sports’.
Real Madrid have reportedly reached an agreement with Kylian Mbappe, or so PSG believes. According to ‘Sky Sports’, the Parc des Princes side believe the French striker will join ‘Los Merengues’ next summer on a free transfer as he will not renew his contract with the French club.
According to the English outlet, the France international striker was sent a letter by PSG on Monday making it clear he would be sold this summer unless he agrees to extend his contract before the end of this month.
It is worth noting that on Wednesday when Luis Enrique was unveiled as the French side’s new coach, president Nasser Al-Khelaifi already made it clear that Mbappe would not be leaving the club for free next year: “My position is very clear: if Kylian wants to stay, we want him to stay. But he has to sign a new contract. We can’t let the best player in the world go for free. We can’t do that. He’s already said ‘I’ll never leave for free’
Supposedly, these words did not sit well with Mbappe, who considers that he never promised not to leave for free. It remains to be seen how the whole situation develops, but everything seems to indicate that the Mbappe transfer saga is coming to an end.
