Tottenham have finally announced the signing of Luka Vuskovic, a centre-back from Croatian side Hajduk Split. The young defender was on the radar of teams like Barcelona, Madrid and Manchester City but in the end it was Spurs who moved fastest to land the promising youngster on a seven-year deal.

Spurs, who are loving life under Ange Postecoglou after a brilliant start to the season in which they remain unbeaten, have even more good news to report.

As already reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano a couple of weeks ago, Spurs moved faster than anyone else to close a deal with Croatian side Hajduk Split for their promising centre-back Luka Vuskovic.

The 16-year-old Croatian prodigy was on the radar of top teams such as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City, but in the end it was the team presided over by Daniel Levy who reached an agreement for the player.

We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement for Luka Vuskovic to join the Club in 2025 from Hajduk Split, in a deal which will run until 2030,” reads the statement issued by the English club.
