Mbappe and Endrick already featuring on Real Madrid official website

With the start of July, Real Madrid have added Kylian Mbappe and Endrick to the “squad” section of their official website. Although both strikers had been known about for weeks, the ‘Merengue’ club had to wait until the Frenchman’s contract with Paris Saint-Germain formally expired and the Brazilian’s coming of age was just a few days away.

An exciting season is approaching for Real Madrid’s forward line. Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Endrick, Rodrygo Goes and Brahim Diaz will share space on a roster from which many unknowns arise as to what pecking order Carlo Ancelotti will apply. The most recent additions are the former Paris Saint-Germain and Palmeiras youngster, who are already listed on the club’s official website.

The club added them on Monday because, with the beginning of July, the Frenchman’s contract with the Parc des Princes expired and there are only a few days left before his team-mate comes of age on the 21st of this month. As a result, they can now be formally considered as part of the Real Madrid squad for the 2024-25 campaign, in which the Santiago Bernabeu outfit will be defending their La Liga, Super Cup and Champions League titles.

An interesting aspect of the capital club’s channels is that, for the moment, it is not possible to check which number will be worn by each player, although it is quite likely that the striker will wear the No 9. Otherwise, the No 7, No 11 and No 21 will continue to belong to Vini, Rodrygo and Brahim, respectively. The No 14 that accompanied Joselu Mato in his year on loan from Espanyol remains vacant. Now, it is confirmed that he will play in the Qatar League.

Mbappe’s presentation will take place after the European Championship, in other words, in a couple of weeks. The time to prepare for the event will depend on how far the French national team goes in the tournament.
