Manchester United want to close the deal for Mason Mount as soon as possible. Chelsea are being tough in negotiations for their midfielder and have already turned down two offers from the Red Devils, who according to Fabrizio Romano want to speed up talks and secure the transfer next week.
Manchester United want to strengthen their midfield for next season with Mason Mount at all costs. The player and the Mancunian club have reached an agreement in personal terms, but the hardest part remains to negotiate with Chelsea.
The Red Devils have already tabled a second £50m bid for the England midfielder but the Blues rejected it. Todd Boehly’s side continue to insist they will not let the England international leave for less than £60m.
According to transfer market expert Fabrizio Romano, the Mancuanian club will make a third offer for the player in order to close the deal as soon as possible.
The Old Trafford outfit reportedly want to make Mason Mount’s arrival official by the end of next week at the latest. Barring any surprises, the current Chelsea midfielder looks set to play under Ten Hag next season.
