Liverpool are interested in paying Take Kubo’s 60 million clause to lure him away from Real Sociedad, according to Japanese media outlet ‘Sponichi Annex’. If the deal is completed, Real Madrid would receive a considerable amount, as they have 50% of the Japanese player’s economic rights.
Real Sociedad player Take Kubo is one of the franchise players and therefore has a termination clause to match. The amount to be paid to take him out of the Basque club is 60 million euros.
According to the Japanese media ‘Sponichi Annex’, Liverpool want to take him to the Premier League and are willing to pay the corresponding figure. In addition, the forward would also welcome a move to the Premier League. His salary would be around 12 million a year.
On the other hand, Real Madrid will benefit if the operation is completed, as it has 50% of the economic rights of the player. The ‘Merengues’ would collect a sum of around 27 million euros.
