The Premier League announced on its official website the eight goals nominated for the best goal of August in the domestic competition. Luis Diaz’s acrobatic finish against Bournemouth and Saka’s curling effort against Nottingham Forest are among the nominees.
Many impressive goals are scored in a month in the Premier League, which is why the English football elite has an award for the best goal of the month in the domestic competition.
Following the conclusion of the first month of the 2023/2024 season, the eight nominees for August’s Premier League Goal of the Month award have been announced on the competition’s official website.
Among them was Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka’s curling shot against Nottingham Forest, which helped the Gunners beat the Tricky Trees 2-1.
Luis Diaz is also one of the favourites to win the award with his acrobatic finish against Bournemouth in the Reds’ 3-1 win over the Cherries.
