Chelsea to land £5m Eden Hazard bonus from Real Madrid

Belgium’s Eden Hazard, who retired in October last year, has landed Real Madrid, his latest club, an extra expense, ‘The Telegraph’ has reported. After securing his ticket to the Champions League final, La Liga champions will have to pay Chelsea almost 6 million euros.

The Belgian’s transfer to Madrid cost the ‘Merengue’ outfit 130 million pounds plus 40 million in add-ons (160 million euros) and Marina Granovskaia, who was the Blues general manager at the time, managed to include a bonus of 5 million pounds (almost 6 million euros) if ‘Los Blancos’ reached a European final.
