According to ‘Daily Mail’, Chelsea are weighing up moves to sign Arsenal winger Emile Smith Rowe, as well as Barcelona pair Raphinha and Ferran Torres. Although the interest is in its opening stages, things may accelerate quickly, as manager Mauricio Pochettino wants more options in attack before the window closes on Friday.
Big-spenders Chelsea might not be done just yet. According to ‘Daily Mail’, new manager Mauricio Pochettino wants even more depth in attack for the 2023-24 campaign, and along with club owner Todd Boehly, is debating a late move to find some more stars.
Despite signing already this summer the likes of Nico Jackson and Christopher Nkunku, the Blues want more and the same outlet points to the trio of Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe and Barcelona pair Raphinha and Ferran Torres.
Smith Rowe is looking to get back on track following an injury-hit 2022-23, and is yet to feature for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal side. Raphinha was suspended for two matches following a double yellow in Barcelona’s opener against Getafe, and in his absence teenager Lamine Yamal has shone.
Ferran Torres, on the chopping block for Barcelona after some rocky performances last season, has been making himself indispensible for Xavi Hernandez, scoring two goals in two matches off the bench and the Catalans may now be hesitant to part with him.
😱 We could be in for some transfer drama late in the window!
