Arsenal have the market’s bombshell in their sights: Kai Havertz. ‘The Athletic’ reported on Wednesday that the Gunners are in the market for the German striker and are already making a formal bid for Declan Rice.
Arsenal have set their sights on Stamford Bridge. The Blues,already led by Mauricio Pochettino, are outside of European competitions. There is the bombshell that the Emirates Stadium side are dreaming of: Kai Havertz.
‘The Athletic’ advanced Wednesday the Gunners’ interest in the German attacker. The 29-year-old is under contract at the London club until 30th June 2025 and Todd Boehly intends to renew his contract.
This is where Arsenal come in. If Kai Havertz decides to reject Chelsea’s extension proposal, Chelsea will be forced to put him on sale in order to get the highest possible transfer fee, as explained by journalist David Ornstein.
In addition to what would be the Gunners’ star signing, there is Declan Rice. The Conference League champion with West Ham is getting closer and closer to playing under Mikel Arteta, as they finalise the details of the formal offer.
