Ronald Araujo underwent a successful operation on Monday on the hamstring injury he sustained in his right thigh. He will be out for several months.
Ronald Araujo has already undergone surgery. Barcelona’s Uruguayan centre-back underwent surgery in Finland to treat the right thigh injury that will keep him out until November.
“First-team player Ronald Araujo has undergone successful surgery on Monday to treat the hamstring injury in his right thigh,” Barcelona said in a brief statement.
The operation was carried out by Dr Lasse Lempainen in Turku, Finland, under the supervision of Barcelona’s medical services.
Although Barcelona have declined to give an estimated time out for Araujo, it is likely that the Uruguayan centre-back will not be available for Flick until November, as reported by ‘RAC1’.
