Man Utd’s dressing room bugged in Villa draw revealed team talks

According to the ‘Sun ‘, Man United’s dressing room was bugged by a prankster in the Premier League match against Aston Villa on October 6th. A hidden device was reportedly planted two days before the draw and recorded under-fire Ten Hag’s team talks for the game.

Reports from the ‘Sun’ revealed that Man United’s dressing room was bugged before their Premier League match against Aston Villa earlier this month. The breach was reportedly conducted by a prankster who planted a device in the United dugout two days before the two sides kicked off.

‘The Sun’ claims that the device recorded head coach Ten Hag’s team talks ahead of the clash last Saturday. While the recordings are reportedly in posession of the ‘Sun’, the British newspaper confirmed their decision to not release the audio to the public. Though they do reveal that any instruction given by the Dutch boss to the players “can clearly be heard”.

It is understood that the person responsible for the prank used a phone from China that has a special setting where a “microphone can be activated by calling it from another device,” as per the same report. The prankster had reportedly taped the device in an hidden spot of the United dressing room and rang it to activate it only when he knew Ten Hag would be in there.

An unnamed sourced spoke to the ‘Sun’ and said: “This is a shocking breach of security and some serious questions will be asked as to how this was allowed to happen. Fortunately, there was nothing sinister to this incident. It was just a prankster, who’s actually a United fan, being silly and wanting to hear what was said inside those four walls. But it will definitely be a cause for concern about how they managed to get inside a changing room at one of the Premier League’s biggest clubs just days before a match,” the sourced further revealed.
