Rio Ngumoha signs for Liverpool as Premier League officially approve the transfer. The Blues youth product is now set to play for the Reds under-18s squad.
16-year old prospect Rio Ngumoha officially completes his move to Liverpool from Chelsea following Premier League approval.
Liverpool have been keen on signing the young player since earlier this summer, in July, after he expressed his wish to leave the Blues the month before. The deal was in stand-by for more than two months, until the green light was given this evening by the Premier League as its five-step review was passed by the Mersyside club.
Ngumoha is now set to play for the under-18s squad and could even make his debut in the club´s upcoming match against Blackburn Rovers on September 14th.
With a player of the tournament award to his name, subsuquent to his perfomances with Chelsea´s under-16s last October, Rio Ngumoha is regarded by Liverpool as a major talent.
