Both Jude Bellingham and Brahim Diaz, who are suffering from shoulder problems, will not undergo surgery this summer, as reported by Spanish outlet ‘AS’.
We are in the middle of the Euro and Copa America break and some clubs have taken centre stage on Tuesday. Real Madrid have been one of them, who have made it clear that neither Jude Bellingham nor Brahim Diaz will undergo surgery this summer for shoulder problems.
That is what ‘AS’ has reported. “Neither has undergone surgery and we don’t think it’s in their plans, according to what they agreed with the doctors,” was the message from Madrid sources to the Spanish outlet.
Bellingham continues to carry a left shoulder problem that originated in November, in the La Liga match against Rayo Vallecano at the Santiago Bernabeu. His fall led to a dislocation in the joint that kept him out of action for several games.
Those niggles continued throughout the season – he plays with shoulder pads – as did Brahim Diaz, who also suffered a dislocated right shoulder. That injury occurred in Madrid’s first defeat of the 2023/24 campaign, in September against Atletico Madrid at the Metropolitano.
Since then, the Morocco international has been playing with a special bandage and an operation was also on the table. However, the Spanish side have already made it clear that neither will have surgery unless the pain gets worse.
