According to ‘The Sun’, Liverpool join Chelsea and Arsenal in the race for Napoli star Victor Osimhen in the upcoming January transfer window as coach Jurgen Klopp has sent scouts to keep an eye on him.
Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is likely to leave his current club due to a controversial dispute between the two parties. The Nigerian star is no longer comfortable at Napoli and will look for a new destination in the January transfer window.
Both Chelsea and Arsenal are interested in his services but suitors are growing as Liverpool have joined the race for him, according to ‘The Sun’.
The same media outlet reports that German manager Jurgen Klopp has sent scouts to watch the 24-year-old while he is on international duty with Nigeria in Portugal.
The Reds are looking to bolster their attack after reinforcing their midfield in the summer with the signings of Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai and Ryan Gravenberch. The Premier League giants will battle to sign Osimhen in the next transfer window but the striker will have the final say.
