Casemiro suffered a knock in Brazil’s 1-1 draw against Venezuela.

Despite his recent knock at international duty, Casemiro took part in Monday’s training session with Brazil. Manchester United can breathe a sigh of relief as they will be able to count on the midfielder for the next few games.

Manchester United released a statement a few days ago reporting that Casemiro had suffered a knock in Brazil’s 1-1 draw against Venezuela and was replaced by coach Diniz.

“The severity of the problem is unclear and it remains to be seen whether the United man will feature in Brazil’s second match of the break, against Facundo Pellistri’s Uruguay on Wednesday morning,” they wrote on their website.

Nonetheless, good news has arrived for the Red Devils. The Brazilian midfielder took part in the Brazilian national team’s training session on Monday.

The Old Trafford outfit didn’t want to lose one of their key players for the next few games as they have not started the season in the best possible way. They will have to take on Copenhagen in the Champions League group stage after facing Sheffield United in the domestic competition.
