The Red Devils have issued a statement saying that the players who have been away on international duty will return to training on Monday, with the exception of the former Ajax player.

The Glazers family-owned club stated that the Brazilian winger “will delay his return until further notice in order to address the allegations”.

“As a club we condemn acts of violence and abuse. We recognise the importance of safeguarding all those involved in this situation, and acknowledge the impact these allegations have on survivors of abuse,” reads the statement.
