According to ‘The Athletic’, Manchester United are considering signing Sergio Reguilon from Tottenham Hotspur to bolster their defence before the end of the summer transfer window.

Manchester United are desperate to strengthen their defence in the final days of the summer transfer window. According to several reports in England, the Red Devils have submitted an official offer to Chelsea to sign Marc Cucurella on loan.

Nevertheless, they have not yet received a response to their proposal. As a result, according to ‘The Athletic’, the Manchester outfit are considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguilon to create a rock-solid defence to compete at the highest level.

The Spanish defender spent last season on loan in La Liga, making 12 appearances for Atletico Madrid. He could now face another loan spell in the Premier League.

Erik ten Hag’s side have had several injury problems in recent weeks as Luke Shaw will be out of action for an extended period after suffering a muscle injury. Tyrell Malacia is also unavailable for the Dutch manager.
