The Bernardo Silva transfer saga has come to an end. The Portuguese, who was linked with Barcelona and even PSG this summer, has finally decided to stay at the Sky Blues and has signed a new contract until 2026.
After a tug-of-war battle between Manchester City and Bernardo Silva, both club and player have reached an agreement.
Despite attempts by Barcelona and even PSG, who joined the race for the playmaker this summer, the Portuguese has decided to stay at the Sky Blues.
The Cityzens announced on their official website that the former Monaco player has signed a new contract that runs until 2026. Manchester City fans will therefore be able to continue to enjoy the magic of the Portugal international for three more years.
Bernardo Silva has always been a key player for Pep Guardiola since his arrival at the English club in the 2027/2018 season. The Portuguese midfielder has made 308 official appearances for the Sky Blues, 233 starts, scoring 55 goals and providing 53 assists.
