According to ‘Bild’, Real Madrid are preparing a bid of €120 million in the final days of the transfer window to put pressure on PSG.

Following recent rumours that Kylian Mbappe’s contract extension with PSG is “well on the way”, ‘Bild’ reveals that Real Madrid are preparing a bid of €120 million to be submitted in the final days of the transfer window in order to put pressure on the club from the French capital. A plan that has been in the works for several days.

It’s a familiar scenario, and one for which the French club are probably well prepared, given that this would not be Real’s first attempt. Indeed, the Madrid club already sent an offer of 180 million euros a few days before the end of the 2021 summer transfer market.

An offer that was not accepted by Nasser Al-Khelaifi’s management, who reportedly did not even deign to respond.

It is worth noting that Mbappe stopped training with the ‘discarded’ players and was even called up for PSG’s second Ligue 1 match of the season, in which the Frenchman came on as a substitute to put Luis Enrique’s side ahead despite Toulouse’s late equaliser.
