Nothing is going to change Kylian Mbappe’s mind. ‘AS’ maintains that neither Leo Messi’s departure to Inter Miami nor Neymar’s possible departure this summer will change his mind. Even if he remains the only undisputed leader of the team, it is clear to him that it is time to leave the Parc des Princes.

Kylian Mbappe is sidelined from the first team. The player from Bondy is training with the PSG reserves and will continue to do so until he decides whether he wants to renew his contract or opt to leave this summer. And the striker is clear that his future is far from Paris, according to ‘AS’.

A few years ago, it would have been enough for the ’10’ to know he was PSG’s superstar to continue. But that has changed a lot over the years. Neither the fact that Leo Messi has left for Inter Miami nor the possible departure of Neymar would make the Frenchman think about his renewal.

Since signing for PSG in 2017, Mbappe has played alongside Neymar. The relationship between the superstars has had some tense moments, as both have been labelled as stars and, at times, their egos have clashed.

Now that, according to ‘L’Equipe’, Neymar has asked PSG to let him leave, this time together as PSG’s superstars could soon come to an end. However, being left alone, with Messi already in MLS, would not be enough for Mbappe to change his mind. Regardless of what the Brazilian does, his mind is made up.

It is no longer enough for the fashionable striker to be PSG’s main man. His mind is elsewhere and, in the meantime, Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on his situation, although the ‘Merengues’ are clear that they will not do anything until he says publicly that his objective is to leave Ligue 1.
