Manchester United are reportedly getting closer to a move for Fiorentina midfield Sofyan Amrabat. The Moroccan international is reportedly very keen on the move, and with the Red Devils having secured Rasmus Hojlund, they are turning their attention to Amrabat. His arrival hinges on either the sale of Fred or Donny van de Beek however.
Having secured, all but officially, the transfer of striker Rasmus Hojlund, Manchester United return their attention to their midfield.
Their main target is Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, who impressed on the world stage with Morocco as they reached the semifinals of the Qatar World Cup.
Although United are willing to offer £30 million for the 26-year-old, his arrival hinges on the sales of either Fred or Donny van de Beek. Erik ten Hag is very keen on the player, but the Danish striker has eaten through most of the manager’s budget, meaning sales are required to raise the necessary funds.
Galatasaray are reportedly keen on the Brazilian, and as for Van de Beek, the Red Devils have entered talks with La Liga side Real Sociedad, who could secure the Dutchman’s services for a reported £25 million. United are expected to launch their opening bid once one or either of the sales goes through.
Amrabat has no doubts: he said yes to Manchester United, he wants the move since first talks in June despite rich Saudi bids 🔴🇲🇦

Understand he never said he’s “staying” or anything similar. Fake quotes.
No official bid yet — Man Utd will send it as soon as Fred/Donny leave. pic.twitter.com/ZZz1eNds0W
