Cristiano Ronaldo came close to scoring his first goal of the pre-season for Al Nassr to put the Saudi club ahead against PSG. However, Donnarumma denied the Portuguese’s opener with a great save.

Cristiano Ronaldo shows that he is ready for the 2023/2024 season. The Portuguese almost put the Gulf state side ahead on two occasions in the first half.

In the 39th minute, Ghareeb received a ball on the left flank and found Cristiano Ronaldo with a delightful cross to the penalty spot – the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, with an incredible one-touch finish, almost scored the opening goal but was denied by an incredible save from Donnarumma.

Just four minutes later, the former Real Madrid player also came close to putting Luis Castro’s side ahead after finishing Talisca’s cross from the right with an incredible bicycle kick. However, the ball went just wide of the post and the referee ruled out the attempt as the portuguese was offside.

For their part, PSG also created several dangerous chances where they could have taken the lead against the Saudi side. Lemina was a real headache for the Al Nassr defence but was not very lethal when it came to finishing.
