Real Betis are in talks with Tottenham over the return of Giovani Lo Celso, the Argentina international who played for Sevilla for a season before moving to London in 2019.

Ever since his move to Tottenham in 2019, Real Betis have emerged as a possible destination for Giovani Lo Celso. The Argentinian would like to leave London this summer after several complicated seasons with Spurs.

Lo Celso, who spent last season on loan at Villarreal, where he performed at an excellent level, is attracting interest from the Andalusian club.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the Spanish club have taken a major step forward by informing Tottenham that they want the Argentinian midfielder, but other clubs are also interested.

The green-and-white club know that the Argentina international would welcome a return to Seville, but his salary is a stumbling block. The Andalusian club will need to part with a number of players before they can make a return to the former PSG player a reality.
