Dominik Szoboszlai revealed in an interview for ‘Nemzeti Sport’ that Manchester City’s Erling Haaland helped him make the decision to join Liverpool.
Liverpool announced Dominik Szoboszlai’s signing on Sunday and the Hungarian is ready to begin his new adventure at Anfield. The playmaker left RB Leipzig after one season in Germany.
The 22-year-old said in an interview that Manchester City star Erling Haaland helped him make the decision to play in the Premier League next season.
“We’ve talked. So much so that Erling [Haaland] has also advised on finding real estate, and it could very well be that we become neighbours,” he told ‘Nemzeti Sport’.
“I learned from him that several players live halfway between Manchester and Liverpool in a quiet area where privacy can be preserved, and on Monday I will see what he was talking about. I’m very curious.
“And of course, putting our friendship aside during the Liverpool-Manchester City matches, it will surely be a fantastic experience to play against each other,” he concluded.
