FIFA agent Marco Kirdemir said in an interview with ‘Marca’ that Jurgen Klopp’s side will try to secure Kylian Mbappe’s services and that they are “in competition” with Real Madrid.
Kylian Mbappe is in the spotlight and will be one of the hot topics of the summer transfer window. The Frenchman is likely to join Real Madrid but Liverpool are keen to take him away from the Spanish giants.
FIFA agent Marco Kirdemir gave an interview to ‘Marca’ and said the Reds will try to convince the 2018 World Cup winner that his future lies in the Premier League.
“Liverpool are in competition with Real Madrid and want to pay a fortune for Mbappe,” he said. The agent said the English side could offer 300 million euros (£258 million) for his transfer.
Moreover, he claimed that the Catari board are “very upset” with his decision not to extend his contract with the Parc des Princes outfit.
“They told me that they are very angry. They wanted and were confident that he was going to renew. The Emir is very upset.”
