According to ‘The Telegraph’, Manchester United want to sign Declan Rice in the next transfer window at all costs. The Red Devils are aware of Arsenal’s interest but they are willing to offer a swap deal.
Arsenal know they need good reinforcements to face the Champions League. The Gunners want to reinforce their midfield and have already moved for Declan Rice as they have sent two bids for the Englishman.
Nonetheless, both have been rejected by West Ham. The Hammers are hoping to sell their star for at least 100 million pounds. As a result, Manchester United, who are also interested in the 24-year-old, could overtake them in the race for his transfer.
The Red Devils are willing to offer 120 million pounds to secure his services. Furthermore, according to ‘The Telegraph’, they could also offer a swap deal as Harry Maguire or Scott McTominay could be offered to West Ham.
Maguire has had several blunders this season and Erik ten Hag is likely to be without him next season while the Scot has not had many opportunities at Old Trafford this year. Rice is set to leave the London Stadium but his new destination is still uncertain.
🚨 Manchester United are considering making an offer to West Ham for Declan Rice that would rival Arsenal's bid.
