Manchester United announced their 29-man squad list for their pre-season matches on Wednesday afternoon. Some notable players such as Joshua Zirkzee, who has just joined the Red Devils, will not be available to Erik ten Hag.
Manchester United are ready to travel. The Red Devils will face Arsenal and Liverpool, among other clubs, in preparation for the 2024/25 campaign. They will travel to the United States to play these matches, which are scheduled to start on 28 July and finish on 4 August.
Leny Yoro, who was Erik ten Hag’s latest summer signing, will be available along with his 28 teammates for the trip to Los Angeles, the English club announced on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Jadon Sancho, whose future remains uncertain, will also travel with United for pre-season matches despite his poor relationship with the Dutch manager.
Some key players such as Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez will be absent as they are still on holiday after international duty with their national teams – both at Euro 2024 and the Copa America. As will Joshua Zirkzee, who will be unavailable.
