Joao Felix gave an interview to ‘NUDE PROJECT’, where he did not hide his desire to continue at Barcelona next season: “My plan is clear, I love Barcelona and I want to stay. It depends on several factors, so we’ll see what will happen”.
Joao Felix will be one of the big names in the transfer market. Both for Atletico Madrid and Barcelona, the team he will leave on 30 June to return to Majadahonda. But he desires to continue in Barcelona.
This is what he confirmed in his interview to ‘NUDE PROJECT’: “I’m on loan, it doesn’t depend on me. My plan is clear: I love Barcelona and I want to stay. It depends on several factors, so we’ll see what happens.”
Considering that it has not been his best season, Joao Felix was self-critical: “I am very self-critical of myself, I see that when something is not right, I don’t always blame others. I also look at myself to see what I can do.”
He referred to the fact of being a substitute at Barcelona: “Being a substitute means that you are not doing things well or that you feel injustice. If a training session goes badly, I go home angry. Imagine a game that you don’t play or that you don’t play much, the day after I’m pissed off. I fight with myself”.
Among other things, Joao Felix said that not playing at the Spotify Camp Nou had a lot to do with it: “It hurt us a bit, of course it affects us. In Montjuic, the stadium has fewer people, the track is around the pitch and the stands are even further away. The teams come to play and don’t feel pressure”.
