Fernando Gonzalez, Pedri’s brother, came out to defend the Tenerife midfielder against the criticism he has received in recent weeks.
Barcelona’s knockout of the Champions League and the defeat in ‘El Clasico’ against Real Madrid has done a lot of pain to the club and the people around them. So much so that it has even affected some of the players and their families.
Fernando Gonzalez, Pedri’s brother, came out in defence of the midfielder through his social networks both for the criticism and the alleged extra-sporting outings of the Tenerife player.
“Let’s see, tell us what to do? You have to be a clown, you may like my brother’s sporting career more or less but questioning his work and commitment is ignorant and not knowing us at all. You are a complete idiot and a liar,” said Fernando Gonzalez on Twitter.
“It seems silly to me to go out and deny things because this is part of the business, but say we do things at night? First of all, if we go out we are at that age we are young hahaha and above all we are humans. And secondly, of course, we do things, we usually follow the diet, watch football, wash our teeth and sleep. Maybe that’s what you mean,” he added.
“That’s why life puts everyone in their place, you are writing lies on social media without showing your face, while we are succeeding in life, enjoying and being happy. Although now everything is about getting sticks and criticism, I who know my brother the most, am sure that his work and sacrifice in life will put him in the place he deserves, it is only a matter of time,” he concluded on his Instagram account.
