Tottenham are a step away from signing Luka Vuskovic, a centre-back with a bright future. The 16-year-old Croatian defender has been linked with the likes of Manchester City, Madrid and Barca, among others, and has finally opted to join the London club.
Fabrizio Romano, a journalist specialising in the transfer window, reported that Hajduk Split, the team which own the young player, and Spurs have reached an agreement after finalising the last details of the deal.
The source says that Vuskovic only wanted to join Tottenham, who have beaten off five clubs who had shown strong interest in the young talent. It is only a matter of time before the British club announce his signing.
The 1.93m Balkan has yet to feature this season for Hajduk Split, for whom he made nine appearances last season. He did, however, start the 2022-23 season with the U19s and scored 8 goals in 20 games.
