Sofyan Amrabat is not in Fiorentina’s squad to face Rapid Vienna in the first leg of their Conference League play-off. The Moroccan is said to be on the radar of Manchester United, according to the Daily Express.

The situation regarding Sofyan Amrabat is set to be resolved in the final days of the transfer window. The Moroccan midfielder is still in Italy awaiting a possible transfer, and was on the bench during Serie A Matchday 1 at Genoa.

On Wednesday, the former Brugge player was not in the squad called up for the trip to Vienna in the first leg of the Conference League play-off, confirming the words of the ‘Viola’s’ general manager Joe Barone: “The club is always ready for departures and arrivals. If someone isn’t happy, we can satisfy them between now and the end of the transfer window.”

Meanwhile, the ‘Daily Express’ has claimed that Manchester United, at Erik ten Hag’s request, are pushing hard to sign Amrabat. No offer has yet been made, but the 27-year-old is one of Manchester United’s two preferred choices, along with Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch.
