Jude Bellingham spoke to his current club’s press after his first training sessions with Real Madrid. The Englishman said teammates Lucas Vazquez and Brahim Diaz are helping him learn Spanish.
Jude Bellingham, who left Borussia Dortmund in the summer, had his first training session with Real Madrid last week. The youngster is adapting to his new team and his new competition.
The midfielder is also learning Spanish and revealed in an interview for his current club’s press that two teammates are helping him a lot with his new language.
“Lucas Vazquez and Brahim Diaz are probably my biggest Spanish teachers. Everyone’s chipping in and teaching me bad words. I can’t wait to try them out,” he said.
His new teammates are not only helping him with language but also with pitch skills. The England international praised Toni Kroos and his performances. He also admitted that the German is helping him to improve.
“Toni [Kroos] is a master. The ball just drops wherever he wants it to, all the time. Having watched Kroos from the outside, it’s a pleasure to watch him up close. It’s really good being able to receive the ball from him, showing him what I can do too, and see how our skills can match.”
The 20-year-old has already trained for a week with Real Madrid and is adapting more and more to his new life in Spain.
