Saka starts the pre-season with Arsenal the same way he ended last season: excelling. The young Englishman gave the Gunners the lead against Nurnberg in the sixth minute with a lovely, thumping strike.
Bukayo Saka was one of the key players in Arsenal‘s incredible 2022/2023 season in which the Gunners ultimately failed to lift the Premier League title.
It seems that the young Englishman is going for it this season and it only took him 6 minutes in Arteta’s team’s first pre-season game to score his first goal of the pre-season.
The English winger cut in from the right and unleashed a powerful shot past the goalkeeper to give the London club the lead against Cristian Fiel’s team.
The England international made 48 official appearances for Arsenal last season, 42 of them starts, scoring 15 goals and providing 11 assists.
