Kylian Mbappe gave an interview for ‘L’Equipe’ and ‘France Football’ after receiving the trophy for best French player of the 2022-23 season. The French star assured that being at PSG does not help him to win the Ballon d’Or, because it is a team “that divide”.
Kylian Mbappe once again fueled rumors about his future. The PSG striker gave an interview to ‘L’Equipe’ and ‘France Football’ after being awarded the best French player of the 2022-23 season.
The ‘7’ claimed that playing at the Parc des Princes is not the right environment to win the Ballon d’Or, the one he aspires to at the age of 24: “Playing at PSG does not help much to win the Ballon d’Or, it’s a team that divide”.
Finally, Kylian Mbappe concluded by taking stock of what has been the 2022-23 activity: “Many things make me proud. We have continued to win titles, which is what we play for. And of course, I’m delighted to have maintained my personal level with a 54-goal season, even if I could do better.”
We will see what happens in the next week but everything seems to point to the fact that Real Madrid could be closer than ever to close the signing of the PSG superstar.
