According to ‘L’Equipe’, the Gunners are interested in Monaco midfielder Youssouf Fofana as are Newcastle, who were already keeping an eye on the Frenchman. West Ham are also targeting him.
Youssouf Fofana has had an incredible season at Monaco, scoring two goals and providing two assists in 48 appearances, and several clubs are interested in the midfielder for the upcoming transfer window.
According to ‘L’Equipe’, Arsenal have joined Newcastle in the race for his transfer. The Gunners are targeting him as Declan Rice’s back-up. The Magpies are looking to strengthen their midfield as they will be playing in the Champions League next season.
West Ham are asking £100 million for the transfer of their skipper and Mikel Arteta’s side are considering a low-cost alternative. The same media outlet reports that Fofana’s signing could cost 35 million euros.
Likewise, the Hammers are interested in signing the Monaco midfielder to replace Declan Rice, who will leave the London Stadium at the end of June.
