Amrabat has received interest from all around Europe.

As Barcelona continue their search to replace Sergio Busquets, their list of options is being narrowed down for them. The latest to start losing interest in the Catalans, Sofyan Amrabat.

FC Barcelona continue their journey to find midfielder to replace Sergio Busquets for next season. Financial troubles aside, their shortlist of candidates is being narrowed down, and probably not in the way the club would like.

Of a list that only days ago included Martin Zubimendi (Real Sociedad), Ilkay Gundogan (Manchester City), Ruben Neves (Wolves), Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich) and Sofyan Amrabat (Fiorentina), their options appear to have dropped off a cliff, as players are seemingly losing interest in the Catalans’ projects.

First was Zubimendi, appearing to show loyalty to Real Sociedad in an interview, and following him on Monday, was Kimmich, who announced to ‘Bild’ that he had little interest in leaving Bayern before his contract ended. Now, the latest to moving away is Sofyan Amrabat, who ‘Mundo Deportivo’ report has taken himself out the running.

The outlet claims that the club’s own indecision has led Amrabat, one of the discoveries of the last World Cup who reached the semi-finals with Morocco, to begin to consider other options. Despite interest on the player’s part up until very recently, it appears now that attention from other clubs, including BayernTottenham and Atletico Madrid could pull him in a different direction.
